After the epic "Battle of the Bastards," the show is set to air highly-anticipated finale "The Winds of Winter." According to "Game of Thrones" (GOT) Season 6 episode 10 focuses on Cersei's trial. She faces the septas for a trial.
The synopsis does not give away much about the plot of the finale, but a promo video drops several hints. As teased in the trailer, fans will see Walder Frey celebrate the alliance between the Freys and the Lannisters in Riverlands. In Winterfell, Littlefinger approaches Sansa with his demands. And Jon Snow warns Sansa of new enemies.
Elsewhere, Davos finds out about what Melisandre did to Shireen and lashes out at her. He asks Melisandre to reveal the truth to Jon Snow. Meanwhile, several photos (via farfarawaysite) teasing the events of "Game of Thrones" (GOT) Season 6 finale have surfaced. Cersei is not the only one facing the Septa, but Loras and Lancel too will also have to prove their innocence. There is also Jaime and Bronn joining Walder in celebration. However, the twins don't look too happy to be there and there are more shots of Bran and Tyrion.
In addition, "Game of Thrones" (GOT) Season 6 episode 10 "The Winds of Winter" may have been leaked. According to a deleted Reddit post by truede (via iDigitalTimes), fans finally find out what's inside the Tower of Joy as Bran has another flashback. In the vision, Bran Stark reportedly sees Lyanna Stark and Ned Stark. She whispers something to Ned before she closes her eyes forever. And then there is a baby and the next shot shows Jon Snow.
More leaked spoilers suggest that Tommen commits suicide after Cersei's trial. Also, there is a mention of wildfire that could be the reason of Tommen's death. The Mountain also makes an appearance and will "have his way with Septa Unella."
The website notes that the Jon Snow becomes the King of the North, one major character dies and Dorne returns.
Fans can expect to watch much more action in the finale. In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, "Game of Thrones" (GOT) director Miguel Sapochnik, confirmed "people die" in episode 10. In addition, Liam Cunningham, who plays the role of Davos Seaworth, revealed that Season 6 finale will be a "little different this time" and fans can expect "some surprises."
