'Pokémon Sun' and 'Pokémon Moon' are two upcoming role-playing video games in the 'Pokémon' series developed by Game Freak.

With the world getting closer into the grand unveiling of The Pokemon Company's highly-anticipated role-playing video game series of 2016, "Pokemon Sun and Moon" followers are feasting on the latest news circling the media regarding some fresh details that is expected to be revealed on July 1.

The Pokémon Company disclosed the two upcoming releases via Twitter, which will be revealed on the first day of July at 6 a.m. PDT (10 p.m. in the company's home country of Japan and 2 p.m. in the United Kingdom), Tech Times reported.

For the last months, Nintendo did served few tidbits of information to followers, like revealing the new landscape for the Pokemon franchise, the Alola region, and the new Pokemon monsters that the trainers will meet in the virtual world.

Following Nintendo's recent showcase at the Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) 2016, the game developers showed off a new combat mode, dubbed "Battle Royal." The mode shows off a turntable for four trainers with each player picking three Pokémon and battling with them one at a time.

Through these exciting updates, Pokemon followers have made several theories on some of the video game's details that are still not being discussed thoroughly on trailers and conventions.

Based on a report by Neurogadget, how much customization that can be done to the key player is still not known. Also, there was a glimpse coming from "Pokemon Sun and Moon" trailers that game players would be using vehicles to get around. These vehicles include a truck, fire engine and ambulance.

More so, more Pokemon creatures with exciting looks and staggering abilities are expected to come in the next batch of "Pokemon Sun and Moon" updates. There are also fan theories that mentioned about a potential second region aside from Alola region's Hawaiian inspired theme.

However, with the release of the new game being a few months away now, fanatics and followers could only hope for satisfying revelations that could dictate a whole new gameplay for the series. For a strict catch-up with "Pokemon Sun and Moon" updates, the English Pokémon YouTube channel and Japanese channel can be good platforms if any update will be revealed soon.
