With the Z series still circling the international markets, Sony has started a new hype of its supposedly next flagship line up for Xperia earlier this year, with an introduction of its four models.
Dubbed as Sony Xperia X, this successor to the company's Xperia Z series is reported to be coming to the United States and Canada, which consists of four hand-held devices including high-end Xperia X and X Performance, Xperia XA, and the XA Ultra, Android Geeks reported.
Just recently, pre-orders for the Xperia X landed across a number of retailers, including Amazon, Best Buy, B&H Photo Video and Reagan Wireless.
The Xperia X handsets come with a 5.0 inch Full HD display, while coated with a plastic design and aluminum edges on the device's frame, via Bitbag. The screen on the Xperia X also demonstrates X-reality display engine combined with Triluminos display technology, which will produce high resolution graphics, excellent brightness and high contrast.
Additionally, the device will be decent for heavy users as it boasts a Snapdragon 650 Hexa-Core CPU, although its battery capacity of 2700 mAh could send users out of the game world early.
The smartphone also houses a whopping 23-megapixel snapper and 13-megapixel front-facing shooter. It also comes with Quick Charge 2.0 and is crammed with 32 GB storage capacity and 3GB of RAM.
On the other hand, Xperia X Performance carries a greater specification as it run a Snapdragon 820 quad-core processor that will give decent performance on handling everyday tasks. Also, with Sony's famous water-resistant devices, X Performance was given IP68 certification, which makes it dust-resistant and can be submerged up to 1.5 meters or nearly 5 feet underwater for 30 minutes.
The cheapest device in this entire Xperia X lineup is the Xperia XA, which has a price tag of $279.99 and is set to release on July 17. Xperia XA's larger-screen counterpart, Xperia XA Ultra has a 6-inch screen and a Mediatek Helio P10 chipset, and comes with a price of $369.99.
More so, users can also experience the 4G LTE connectivity with features like NFC, Bluetooth, and WiFi easily available among the Xperia X family.
