July is already here and with it is the impending release of new game titles. Players can look forward to top upcoming game titles for July that includes "Song of the Deep," "I am Setsuna" and more.
The month of July may not have a huge list of new games, but there are still a few titles that players may have been looking forward to. Eight of the top upcoming July games were compiled in a report posted on Gaming Bolt. Of the eight games, the first to hit the market would be "Furi" by game developer, The Game Bakers. This third person game features a series of boss encounters where a player would need to defeat one after another to gain freedom. "Furi" will be out on PC and PS4 on Tuesday, July 5.
After "Furi," three more titles from the top eight games will be released on Tuesday, July 12. One of these three games includes GameStop's Metroidvania-style "Song of the Deep" that features the game character Merryn exploring the ocean in search of her father. "Song of the Deep" will be released for PC, PS4 and Xbox One. On the other hand, Harebrained Schemes' third person RPG "Necropolis," along with FireForge Games' "Ghostbusters" will also be released on the said date.
"Necropolis" would likely be a game that adventure lovers may enjoy. It features a treasure-filled labyrinth where danger abounds at every turn. As for "Ghostbusters," FireForge Games new version will feature new characters who appears to be high school students.
Meanwhile, "Monster Hunter Generations" will hit the North American and European gaming markets on Friday, July 15. This 3DS game title will feature the typical combat style that the series has been known for. New hunting moves have also been incorporated into this upcoming game title.
Another game that will get its Western release would be game developer Tokyo RPG Factory and Square Enix's "I am Setsuna." The said game will be unveiled in the West on Tuesday, July 19 for the PS4, PS Vita and PC platforms. The fast-paced "10 Second Ninja X" game will also be released on the same day. As indicated in the game's title, players will be given 10 seconds to complete each of the 100 levels.
Finally, the last game on the top upcoming game titles for July would be Cyan Worlds' "Obduction." Gamers who enjoy adventure titles and puzzles will have fun exploring the world of "Obduction." The said game will be released on July 26.
In other news, Square Enix has recently unveiled a new set of artwork for the upcoming game "I Am Setsuna," Gematsu reported. The new artwork includes colorful depictions of the game's environment and new characters.
