MacBook Pro 2016 and MacBook Air 2016 - Apple's next generation devices - is taking greater height on the technology savvy community, as recent rumors and speculation are circling about the models' releases and updates.

According to Parent Herald, the new MacBook 2016 models are slated for release sometime in fall of 2016, which could synchronize with iPhone 7's launching that is hinted to be in the fourth quarter of the year.

It is said that the delayed release of the new MacBook Pro 2016 model is on purpose because of the idea that both devices will omit the headphone jack, which will solicit a great amount of time for engineers since the change covers the physical aspect of the laptop.

What would cover the absence of the earphone jack is the new Apple Earpods, which features a "Lightning-to Audio" technology that will proved MacBook users access to the laptop's audio through wireless earphones, according to the same publication. The new gadget may be available for purchase for $29.

More so, Apple is working on a new OLED touchscreen format that will replace the function key row on the models' next keyboard, and a Touch ID fingerprint support, 9to5 Mac learned.

The latest update of MacBook Pro is also said to feature USB-C support to address the previous complaint with the sole port on 12-inch MacBook.

In addition to upgrading the 13-inch and 15-inch MacBook Pros, Apple will also introduce a new 13-inch MacBook similar to that of the 12-inch Retina model that was just upgraded with dual-core Intel Core i5 2.7 GHz processor equipped with 8GB RAM.

From recent reports, Apple is setting up the markets with the entry of its new models as the company started pulling its older MacBook Pro stock from some of its retail shops.

Through different listing, it is also speculated that the next MacBook Pro will be thinner, more powerful, have a sharper screen resolution, and unlike the new MacBook, it will have more than one port.

Dubbed as a "game changer" in technology, many of the leaks pointed that there will be also upgraded internals in the newest laptop model including "the latest AMD's Radeon RX 400 series graphics chips, Cellular 46 connectivity and 4k display."
