'Kingdom Hearts 3' rumors: Tetsuya Nomura tease Xenohart, Eraqus as playable characters; Early release date in Japan, 'Kingdom Hearts' PS4 collection in the works?

Kingdom Hearts 3 is an action-RPG developed by Square Enix for the PS4 and Xbox One consoles. It is considered the third title of the Kingdom Hearts game series.

The latest details for "Kingdom Hearts 3" will feature two new playable characters, an early release date in Japan and PS4 collection of the game series.

Game director Tetsuya Nomura teased several new details for "Kingdom Hearts 3" as he told Famitsu (via MovieNewsGuide) that the sequel will launch in Japan earlier than the other regions. Although, Nomura emphasized that the span will be short and "nearly simultaneous" and the global launch for the "Kingdom Hearts 3" will be announced soon.

Aside from the early release date in Japan, Nomura added that "Kingdom Hearts 3" will have its another prologue story besides the "Birth by Sleep 0.2 - A Fragmentary Passage -" from the "Kingdom Hearts HD 2.8" video game. The new prologue will allow gamers take control the younger versions of two Keyblade masters; Eraqus and Xenahort.

The two were featured in the E3 2015 gameplay trailer as the two are playing chest while discussing the lost masters and their key part in starting the keyblade wars. Sqaure Enix teased that the gameplay from the "Birth by Sleep 0.2" will be a preview of the gameplay style in "Kingdom Hearts 3" and Nomura clears out that the story of the prologue is not a scrapped content in the sequel. It was originally part of "Kingdom Hearst 3" however, Nomura decided to cut the content from the game as he does not want to slow the pacing of the plot with many backstories.

In other news, Square Enix is planning to have a "Kingdom Hearts" game collection for the PlayStation 4 console as co-director Tai Yasue stated that the game developers have not "ruled out" the possibility and they will feature games from the original PS2 version to the present instalments, Gamespot reported.

Yasue added that "Kingdom Hearts 3" will not feature any "Final Fantasy" worlds and will add more Disney worlds soon. Yasue explained that having Disney worlds in the sequel can be easly recognizable for players and Square Enix will implement several features for each world.

Three worlds are already confirmed based on Disney films such as "Hercules", "Big Hero 6" and "Tangled", while other Disney films such as "Frozen", "Wreck-it Ralph", "Toy Story", "The Jungle Book", "Zootopia" and many more are still being considered. Square Enix will be revealing more game details for "Kingdom Hearts" in the winter this year.

"Kingdom Hearts 3" is speculated to be release on 2017 for the PS4 and Xbox One consoles.
