"Transformers: The Last Knight" will finally be released on June 23, 2017.

The fifth instalment of "Transformers" is currently on the works, and according to some reports, the upcoming film will feature some familiar faces. It is said that some actors from the previous instalments of the film would be a part of "Transformers: The Last Knight."

According to Hngn, Josh Duhamel and Tyrese Gibson would be reprising their role as William Lennox and soldier Robert Epps.

Both of the actor's character played a crucial role in the very first instalment of the movie. During the first film, Lennox and Epps were seen joined forces with the Autobots in order to defeat the Decepticons. Both of the characters also joined NEST (Non-Biological Extraterrestrial Species Treaty), although during the "Transformers: Dark of the Moon," Lennox and Epps finally went their separate ways - with Epps retiring from his soldier work at NEST and decided to join NASA and work on a space ship instead, while Lennox chose to be left behind, as he stayed in NEST and even became a colonel.

Now that these actors are back to reprise their roles in "Thransformers: The Last Knight," fans are speculating that the upcoming "Transformers" film would be full of blasts and would obviously be action packed like all of Michael Bay's films. Duhamel and Gibson would be working alongside with Mark Wahlberg, Isabela Moner, Mitch Pileggi, Laura Haddock, Jerrod Carmichael, Peter Cullen and Anthony Hopkins.

In other news, Bay recently released a picture of one autobot that got the sweetest upgrade for the upcoming film.

According to Cinema Blend, Bay released the picture of the upgraded autobot in his twitter account, and its none other than Drift. The picture showed Drift disguised as a Mercedes AMG GT R that is sleeker than his previous disguise, which was a black and blue Bugatti Veyron.

Drift was last seen in the previous "Transformers" instalment the "Age of Extinction," as he was one of the autobots who was not captured by the CIA. He then joins the army of autobots, together with Optimus Prime, Hound, Crosshairs and Bumblebee. Although during the first part of the film, there was tension between Drift and Bumblebee because Drift wasn't convinced that Bumblebee served as a great leader while Optimus Prime was out; however, they eventually worked out their issue and kept Cade Yeager's family safe.

Explicit details about the upcoming film is being kept completely under wraps, but "Transformers: The Last Knight" will finally be released on June 23, 2017.
