Recently, the Pangu team showed Cydia running on iOS 10 at the Mobile Security Conference (MOSEC) in Shanghai.
However, according to reports, there is not a jailbreak for the present version of iOS, 9.3.2 yet.
The tech company Apple has made it very difficult for Pangu and other jailbreakers to unlock its mobile operating system. Therefore, it makes more sense for Pangu and others to focus their efforts on the big iOS updates and leaving the smaller updates.
According to a report from Forbes, Pangu will release an iOS 9.3.2 jailbreak pretty soon. It is said that the iOS 9.3.2 jailbreak will release this week. However, jailbreak fans should shift their attention to the iOS 10 jailbreak.
The Cupertino-based company has made difficult for jailbreakers to liberate its devices. It takes a lot more effort and time to jailbreak Apple devices. Therefore, it makes sense for hackers to concentrate their efforts greatly on major releases.
It is not really worth the effort and time of jailbreakers to put together a tool to liberate devices from iOS 9.3.2 because it will not have that many changes with it. It will have only basic patches and tweaks to enhance performance and stability.
iOS 10 is bringing many new features with it, therefore, having an iOS 10 jailbreak is more important than having a jailbreak for iOS 9.3.2.
Meanwhile, the software company has released its second iOS 10 beta. The first beta of iOS 10 was released on June 13. The software was stable for an early iOS beta. However, there were many bugs that required to be squashed.
iOS 10 beta 2 fixes many of those bugs and also polishes several other things. It is now available for download.
According to a CNET report, the update is available to iOS developers with a developer account. iOS 10 includes many new changes and features including a redesigned Home screen and Lock screen experience for widgets, the first Home app for HomeKit, redesigned News and Music apps and a lot of iMessage features in Messages.
The Photos app is also getting a big update with intelligent photo albums, deep learning categorization and face recognition.
