Android Marshmallow is rolling out for Samsung Galaxy A8 in India. The global rollout of the update is also imminent for the device.
The model number of Samsung Galaxy A8, which is getting the Android Marshmallow update is SM-A800F, according to Android Authority. The update is releasing in a gradual manner for all the users.
Samsung Galaxy A8 users can check their devices to see if they are prompted for an update or not. To do so, they need to go to Settings> About Phone> Check for Software Update.
In case the user is not prompted to download the Android Marshmallow update then they need to wait a couple of weeks till the update comes for their device. The other users can upgrade their Samsung Galaxy A8 and enjoy the latest features of the operating system.
The Android Marshmallow update is more than 1GB in size, so the Samsung Galaxy A8 users in India are advised to download the update on an unmetered and stable Wi-Fi connection.
