"Guilt" season 1, episode 4 will continue to see some progress in Grace's (Daisy Head) ongoing case.
In the previous episodes, it was revealed that Grace's best friend Molly (Rebekah Wainwright) was killed off by an unknown character.
At first, everyone thought that Grace was the one to be blamed, but when the police interviewed her, it became clear that she didn't really have anything to do with her best friend's demise.
However, even though Grace is still free as of the moment, this doesn't mean that her life has been peaceful at all.
Everywhere she goes, people would look at her as though she's the most evil person in the entire world.
There are some instances wherein the people who know her best doubted her as well.
Meanwhile, "Blood Ties" will see Grace's older sister Natalie (Emily Tremaine) finding out that Gwendolyn (Naomi Ryan) has some biases in investigating Grace's case.
"Guilt" season 1, episode 4 will also unveil more information about Detective Sergeant Bruno (Cristian Solimeno).
In the previous episode, it was already hinted that the detective has been keeping some dirty secrets.
Next week, a past deed will come back to haunt him.
In the sneak peek released by Freeform for "Blood Ties," Detective Bruno could be seen exchanging the contents of the items he gathered in an investigation.
After successfully hiding the real evidence, Gwendolyn arrived and asked him what he's up to.
Obviously, the detective couldn't tell her the truth so he ended up lying to her.
But when Gwendolyn asked him what he was doing with Molly's thongs, the detective said that he wanted to find out why and how did a student manage to purchase a $200 worth of lingerie.
He added that he is on a dead end because he wasn't able to find any information on who purchased the thong on behalf of Molly.
It's obvious that the detective is protecting someone with the lies that he decided to say.
In other news, Grace will also encourage her boyfriend Luc to push through with his art show. However, the event will cause more problems than the couple could have anticipated.
"Guilt" season 1, episode 4 will air on Freeform on July 11 at 8 p.m. ET.
