"Legends of Tomorrow" is a spin-off series developed by Greg Berlanti, Andrew Kreisberg, Marc Guggenheim and Phil Klemmer.

New details and possible spoilers for "Legends of Tomorrow" season 2 will feature Black Siren joining Rip Hunter's team, Ray Palmer appearance in "Supergirl" and "Flashpoint" event will have an effect on show.

It seems that another DC character will be appearing in "Legends of Tomorrow" season 2 as "Arrow" TV series star Katie Cassidy teased a possible reunion between her character Laurel Lance and her sister Sarah (Caity Lotz) in the show, but it comes with its own twist.

Cassidy told Cinemablend that Sarah will meet her sister's Earth 2 doppleganger named Black Siren who is currently being held in S.T.A.R. Labs in Central City. Earth 2 Laurel Lance/Black Siren is the evil metahuman soldier of Zoom (Teddy Sears) who invaded Earth 1 during "The Flash" season 2. Cassidy explained that both Earth 2 Laurel and Sarah will have a bit of dynamic stating that Earth 1 Laurel does not have a "bad bone" into her and Earth 2 Laurel is the antithesis of Sarah's real sister, making it "cool" and interesting storyline.

Black Siren will be a great addition to "Legends of Tomorrow's" growing roster of characters in season 2 along with Citizen Steel (Nick Zano) an Vixen (Maisie Richardson-Sellers).

Aside from Black Siren joining the show, cast member Brandon Routh teased a possible appearance in "Supergirl" as he posted on the Reddit AMA that he would like to meet the new Superman of the show Tyler Hoechin.

Routh once played the Man of Steel in "Superman Returns" and it will be interesting see him interact with the Superman of show alongside Dean Cain.

In other news, it seems that the "Flashpoint" episode of "The Flash" season 3 will have a possible effect on the plot of "Legends of Tomorrow" season 2.

According to ComicBook, Rip Hunter (Arthur Darvill) will likely fix the damages done by Barry Allen/The Flash's time travel exploits that will open up a new danger not just the time stream, but with the multiverse as well.

"TMNT 2" star Stephen Amell also teased a possible effect of the "Flashpoint" episode on "Arrow" season 5's plot. For now, it is unknown as to how the showrunners will establish plot of season 2 of "Legends of Tomorrow" as more details will be revealed at this year's San Diego Comic Con this month.

CW Network announced that season 2 premiere of "Legends of Tomorrow" is scheduled on Oct. 13.
