Blossom Entertainment has released the official poster of Song Joong Ki's "Asia Tour Fan Meeting" in Shanghai, China on July 16.

Actor Song Joong Ki, 30, will have a fan meeting in Shanghai, China. Latest reports claimed that the much-awaited Shanghai fan meet event, which was initially scheduled on June 5, has now been officially rescheduled for July 16.

On July 5, Tuesday, the event's host, HS E&C, officially announced that the actor will be holding its fan meet event in Shanghai Indoor Stadium on July 16, 7:30 PM. "Running Man" star Kim Jong Kook, 40, will serve as a special guest, The Kpop Herald reported.

Much to the delight of the fans, Kim and Song are expected to perform various games and activities. Kim is also expected to perform two songs, namely, "Today More Than Yesterday" and "Lovable."

The exciting announcement came a month after Blossom Entertainment startlingly announced that the Shanghai leg of Song's Asia tour fan meeting would be postponed to a later date. As there was no official explanation for the cancellation, numerous fans are curious why Blossom Entertainment cancelled it just two days before the event.

"We ask that caution be taken so as not to swindle fans since ticket sales have not begun yet," Blossom Entertainment said in a press statement obtained by Soompi. "We apologize for the inconvenience."

Song rose to stardom in the wider China region after KBS2's "Descendants of the Sun" instantly became a huge sensation in Asia. As a result of his dynamic portrayal of Army Captain Yoo Si Jin, he became the face of more than 30 international and local brands. The drama also established him as a top Hallyu star.

The actor's upcoming fan meeting in Shanghai will mark his last string of events in mainland China. Song has successfully held fan meetings in Beijing, Guangzhou, Wuhan, Shenzhen, Hong Kong, Taiwan, and Chengdu.

The actor will enjoy a reprieve from his Asian fan meeting tour to film "Battleship Island," alongside So Ji Sub, Hwang Jung Min, and Lee Jung Hyun. He will portray a member of the Korean Independence group, Park Moo Young, who sneaks onto the island to rescue a colleague.

Helmed by Ryu Seung Wan, "Battleship Island" is scheduled to be released in theaters by CJ Entertainment in early 2017. Check out the video below:
