On July 1, Friday, Blossom Entertainment released an official statement saying, "Recently, on the Internet, there has been rumors regarding Song Joong Ki and Park Bo Gum allegedly entering red lights, this is not true at all, it is entirely baseless."

Blossom Entertainment added that they will be requesting an investigation regarding the first source of the rumor, as well as pursue legal action against those who spread such gossipy tidbits and manage them with appropriate actions.

"We cannot remain as a spectator when TV programs talk about the rumor as though it were true and disclose real names," a representative from Blossom Entertainment explained to Soompi. "We hope that no further damage will occur."

The false and malicious rumors started when "Powerful Opponents" panelist, Lee Bong Gyu, reportedly claimed that there were other prominent Hallyu stars at the adult entertainment bar on the night of June 4, when Yoochun allegedly sexually assaulted women happened, All K-pop reported.

Later on, Song Hye Kyo and Yoo Ah In's agency, United Artists Agency (UAA), cleared up the false rumors surrounding the two actors, stating that Joong-Ki, Park, Hye Kyo and Ah-In went for a meal together after the Baeksang Arts Awards. A series of still photographs taken from Korea's Dispatch have apparently gone viral on Twitter.
