There were rumors that "Vikings" Season 4B will return this July. However, avid fans of the series will have to wait a little bit longer for the show to go on air again.
The History Channel is mum about Season 4B premiere date, but there are already rumors that the network has decided to postpone the airing of new episodes until later this year. Speculations became rife about the late-2016 airdate after a fan asked the History Channel about the return of Season 4B. The network responded through its official Twitter page that fans should watch the Vikings raid later this year.
When it comes to the storyline, fans should expect many twists and turns in the remaining 10 episodes of Season 4B. In fact, Hirst said via History Extra that he has not "been scratching around for a storyline" and he has no problem with the raw material since they deal with a very rich area of history.
The development team is dealing with the outburst of the Vikings into Western Europe, Iceland, Greenland, and finally into the Mediterranean. According to the creator, there is still a long way to go, and he would wish that they continued until the Vikings discover America.
