It is almost confirmed that Charlie Hunnam will not be a part of the spin-off for ''Sons of Anarchy,'' the fans are curious to know about the star cast of the upcoming season 8. As per the latest updates, Brad Pitt is all set to play the role of Hunnam aka Jackson ''Jax'' Teller's father.
Since there is a lot of similarity in the looks between "Mr. And Mrs. Smith" famed actor Pitt and Hunnam, that seems to be the prime reason behind choosing Pitt to play the role of Hunnam's father. In an exclusive interview with Men's Journal, Hunnam spilled the beans. "Kurt [Sutter] is trying to get it going. Did you read that about Brad Pitt maybe playing my dad? Brad Pitt as John Teller. How awesome would that be?" added Hunnam.
Since the filming is expected to start in 2017 and the storyline seems to be getting written, the cast of the TV series is getting finalised. From season 1 to season 7, the plot of the TV series revolved around the community of bikers who are the members of the ''Sons of Anarchy Motorcycle Club, Redwood Original'' or also known as SAMCRO. This group of bikers have been involved in petty crimes in the past, however, are strictly against drug-trafficking. They try to prevent drug racketing and the illegal exchange of hands of the deadly poison on the city streets.
Meanwhile, the fans would love to know what Hunnam is involved with these days. As per his latest interview with GQ, he is promoting Calvin Klein's newest fragrance, Reveal. The interviewer asked him, ''Are you seeing anything else over there?'' To answer to that Hunnam laughed and mentioned, ''No, just Calvin. I don't have any interest in anything else.''
Pitt's upcoming movie ''The Lost City of Z'' is in the filming stages and will be released sometime in 2016. So after that he will be relatively free and will be able to concentrate on the spin-off if it starts filming in 2017.
