Owen Teague introduces himself as Danny Rayburn's son in a scene in "Bloodline."

"Bloodline" actor Owen Teague portrays an important character in the series, Nolan Rayburn. Season 2 ended in May when he received a lot of praise for his performance. The actor shared his expectations for the show's season 3.

Teague revealed that following his script reading, he had a mix of excitement and nervousness when he realized Rayburn's big role in season 2. He felt honored to gain the trust of the KZK team and making the role and the character his own.

"Going into it, I had no idea who Nolan would start out as, or become, or how big he would be or anything," Teague told International Business Times in an exclusive interview. "The role kinda just evolved as we went along."

The 17-year-old actor shared that one of the best things about the series is that creators create the characters by working with the actors. Teague confessed he watched actor Ben Mendelsohn who played Danny Rayburn in season 1, studying what he did as Danny so he can act out the specific things that the character does.

Teague described the cast and crew of the Netflix series as a huge professional family where everyone loves what they do. He shared the "Bloodline" set is the warmest he ever worked on.

As the show is that heavy, with difficult and tense scenes, Teague shared that the cast have to laugh and enjoy between filming. For instance, when he was done with a scene with stars Kyle Chandler and Andrea Riseborough near season 2's end, they started watching funny YouTube videos and were soon laughing. The young actor added that when there are no cameras rolling, all the people in the set are just the best to be around.

Moving forward, one of the show creators Glenn Kessler said the plan for the series is that it should be of multiple seasons. The story is about family and the relationships of family members.

"Danny was always going to die, like in Crime and Punishment and other stories where it happens early," Kessler told Deadline in an interview during the last days of Emmy voting. "Bloodline is about watching these relationships evolve."
