'Game of Thrones' actor John Bradley proposes mind-blowing theory about Samwell Tarly

Samwell Tarly (John Bradley) is set to emerge as a key player in the upcoming seasons of "Game of Thrones."

"Game of Thrones" actor John Bradley has proposed a theory that the series is actually Samwell Tarly's narration of the whole story from a book he penned about his life. Sam was last seen in the finale episode, giddily gazing upon the thousands and thousands of books in the Citadel's enormous library.

"One theory is that what we're seeing now and how we're experiencing 'Game of Thrones' is Sam telling the story of 'Game of Thrones," Bradley told The Hollywood Reporter during an interview. The much-awaited explosive "Game of Thrones" Season 6 finale episode introduced the Citadel of the maesters where Sam arrived to begin his training.

While Sam was granted access to the huge library with much reluctance, eagle-eyed fans were quick to deduce that the development will have a lasting impact on the upcoming season of the hit HBO series. The character may have overlooked but the viewers were quick to notice a massive  gyroscope hanging inside the Citadel.

It resembles the one shown at the heart of the "Game of Thrones" opening credits. This led to speculatations that Sam will play an important role in the upcoming seasons of the show.

Bradley also seemed excited about the presence of gyroscope in the scene, which he admittedly noticed only when the episode aired on June 26. The events of the series have changed dramatically in the Seven Kingdoms and if a need arises to preserve the developments, Sam seems to be the obvious choice owing to access to information about the War of the Five Kings and his encounter with White Walkers.

It seems that Sam is here to stay in "Game of Thrones" as he is likely to even survive till the end of the series. The actor also pointed out that apart from his intellect, Sam also has Valyrian Steel that is known to have a drastic impact on White Walkers.

Although coming to Citadel seems to be a perfect happy ending to Sam's fate in the series, his stay at the place is expected to be uncertain. The actor recently told Bustle that Sam should soon find something pivotal and go out to apply it against the White Walkers to help Jon Snow in the upcoming seasons.
