Robin Taylor is Penguin in "Gotham."

The DC Comics drama on Fox gave fans a fabulous "Gotham" Season 2 with a game-changing finale. Fish (Jada Pinkett Smith) drove the monster-laden bus straight into the heart of Gotham City, leading to a liberating crash. The monsters were freed from captivity and all of them went about in different directions, leaving fans to wonder what they will do in future.

Though all of them were not identifiable, Jerome Valeska (Cameron Monaghan) was a familiar face and so was the long haired boy who wore the same face as Bruce Wayne (David Mazouz). The latter walked off into the night after Jerome and Fish alighted from the bus. Well, now that the monsters are out in the open and season 3 is also approaching, one cannot help but wonder if these absconding villains will return in September., 2016.

It was certainly difficult to identify them. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the zombie villain Solomon Grundy might come back. For those who don't remember, he was a merchant of Gotham City but became a villain after he was murdered and thrown into the Slaughter Swamp, resulting in an undead transformation.

Comic Book Resources states that The Tweedle Brothers and the Mad Hatter from "Alice in Wonderland" also have a chance. While the former are cousin criminal bosses who look like twins, the latter is a delusional scientist, who uses the most potent weapon called mind control. His crazy hat hides a technology that amplifies his powers.

Well, if he returns, it would be quite interesting to watch him, but so will be Hush- the childhood friend of Bruce Wayne, who is actually Tommy Elliot but disguises himself as a surgeon. He is hell bent on taking revenge from his friend and it has to be said, is quite dangerous.

Talon, Killer Croc and Thomas Wayne Jr. may also make a comeback and are sure to rivet the audience with their villainy. Taylor is a ruthless assassin and the scaly faced Killer Croc is no less deadly. As for Thomas Wayne Jr, this Bruce Wayne lookalike has the most potential to wreak havoc.
