‘Sims 4’ new ‘Backyard Stuff’ DLC contents, release date unveiled; what to expect from new DLC?

EA will soon release its new 'Sims 4' stuff pack named 'Backyard Stuff.'

Electronic Arts (EA) recently unveiled a new stuff pack that avid "Sims 4" fans will surely enjoy. A trailer for the new DLC named "Backyard Stuff" has also been released that contains what gamers can expect from the stuff pack, as well as its launch date.

Loyal "Sims 4" fans received a surprise on Tuesday, July 12, when EA unveiled a promo trailer for "Backyard Stuff," the new stuff pack for the "Sims 4." The said DLC contains various new objects to decorate a Sim's outdoor space, as well as new backyard activities, according to a report posted on The Sim's website. Game developers have added colorful new decorative objects such as a frog fountain, spinning wind catchers and outdoor potted plants.

The upcoming stuff pack also contains new clothing items for Sims with colorful patterns perfect for summer. New hairstyles have also been included that comes in both natural and ombre hues. With the "Sims 4: Backyard Stuff" DLC, gamers can fill their Sim's backyard with colorful decals, a stepladder-type cabinet than can hold several potted plants, as well as a small birdcage and new outdoor chairs.

Players will also enjoy the new gameplay elements that EA developers have incorporated in the said stuff pack. Gamers can have their Sims enjoy the new Lawn Water Slide that comes in various designs. Sims can also enjoy a soothing outdoor experience with the chirping of birds as they feed off the new bird feeder. A new wind chime has also been included in the "Sims 4" stuff pack where players can adjust the length of the chime's rods to change the pitch.

The upcoming new stuff pack will also introduce a new drink pitcher that features new recipes. Gamers can choose from the various thirst quencher recipes such as iced tea, lemonade and more. Finally, having several Sims over for a backyard party and interacting together in one umbrella table will also be possible given the new six-seater version of the said outdoor table.

Meanwhile, news of EA's new "Sims 4: Backyard Stuff" first surfaced in early July when avid fans captured a product page screenshot of the upcoming new DLC on EA's Origin shortly after the "Kids Room Stuff" was released, iDigital Times reported. When "Sims 4" developers were asked on Twitter about the "Backyard Stuff" DLC at that time, they advised fans to wait for further announcements.

The "Sims 4" new "Backyard Stuff" will be released on Tuesday, July 19.
