"Gears of War" iconic hero Marcus Fenix reveals himself before his son from the dark room.

"Gears of War 4" gets a Loot Crate Edition with franchise-related contents including a Lancer replica. The Loot Crate company said that they are proud to be partners with the game franchise.

The special edition from the bundle package company will be released on Oct. 11. The large version of the crate will contain the video game in the digital version, which includes both Windows 10 and Xbox One versions, the digital copies of the rest of the game franchise for the Xbox 360, a Lancer replica, branded glassware, a hoodie, and a Vintage Del Pack. The large crate is priced $129.99, while the smaller version of the crate without the game and with a smaller Lancer will be priced $74.99.

The special pack will include a Vintage Del character model, an emblem, two Vintage weapon skins, and a special Vintage Del bounty. This will be unlocked when the video game is released on Xbox One and Windows 10 PC.

Loot Crate brand manager for gaming Wes Citti said on the company's official press release, that they are honored to tie one of their crates into the upcoming release of the game. He revealed that this is the first time that their company has been able to offer pre-orders of an unreleased game along with their themed monthly crates. This partnership has expanded the game franchise's universe to the fans of Loot Crate, and also to those who have Xbox One and Windows 10 PCs.

In other news, Splash Damage, the studio that has contributed to the video game's multiplayer mode, has been bought by Leyou, a Chinese supplier of poultry meat. According to Polygon, the price was not mentioned in the announcement of the deal, but it should be more than $35 million and less than $150 million. This deal also included the acquisition of Fireteam, which works on online features for other games, and Warchest, which is a game publisher that only publishes digital versions.

Furthermore, this is not the first time the Chinese poultry supplier has purchased a video game and its developer. Earlier this year, the supplier bought the popular third person free to play video game "Warframe" and its developer Digital Extremes.
