Pokémon GO Cheats, Tips and Tricks: How to Fake ‘Real Walking’, Optimal Use of Incense

"Pokemon Go" developer Niantic put in place measures to stop cheaters; however, cheaters have managed to go around such restrictions by employing ingenious ways.

Pokémon GO players continue to share cheats, tips and tricks that will make the gameplay not only optimal but a lot easier too. Proving as the more popular and practical hacks for Nintendo's new mobile game is faking the miles of walking required and the optimal use of Incense.

At the moment, gamers have come up with two ways to fool Pokémon GO into reading that a player is actually walking - one could result to getting banned from the game while the other is believed to be relatively non-detectable.

GPS spoofing or faking one's location is currently in wide use but as mentioned above, the cheating tool could get a player locked out of Pokémon GO. But in order to elude getting banned, players need to make sure that they try the cheat on jailbroken iPhone or rooted Android device.

In doings so, the feature to hide the modified status of the device will be made available to players plus the ability to install GPS spoofing applications, which is true for players on the iOS and Android platforms.

But if flirting with the possibility of getting banned seems too much, the way to go is the hack pointed to by The Verge. The cheat requires no modification and the chance is almost zero that Nintendo and Niantic will detect the tool, thus the prospect of getting banned is not too high.

What a player will mostly need is a drone then playing Pokémon GO without actually walking will be good to go.

"One Pokémon Go player found a sneaky way around this pandemic, by strapping his Android to a DJI Phantom drone and mirroring his phone screen on his laptop using a program called AirDroid," the report said.

One important reminder though when using drone in aid of walking: Be mindful of the speed as the Pokémon GO app will likely interpret the swift moving player as hardly walking. Take note that the average speed for a human walking is around 3.1 miles per hour so anything beyond should trigger suspicion.

As walking, which was made easier by the abovementioned, will level up one in Pokémon GO the next thing to do is how to catch as many Mons as possible or better yet, how to catch them all. Incense is the key.

Gotta Be Mobile summed up in a report the optimal use of Incense - keeping close vigil while the tool is in use. "The important thing to remember with Pokémon GO Incense is that their timer keeps going when you aren't in the game ... It's a good idea to not have anything else to do except to respond to notifications about new creatures being available for you to collect," the report said.

And be reminded that in mon GO, this Pokémon magnet can be used nearly anywhere and the Mons will start spawning and there is no need to look for a Poké Stop before firing the Incense up.
