The latest details for the new "Spider-Man" PS4 game will feature clarification on the its release date and the main villain revealed.
It seems that the release date for the new "Spider-Man" video game for the PlayStation 4 has been revealed as retailing video game website GameStop claimed that release date is on Dec. 26, 2017. However, several gamers stated that it is merely a placeholder as Insomniac Games has not announced the official launch date for "Spider-Man" in the PS4.
Insomniac Games clarrified everything by stating that there will no release date announcement just yet and responded to the GameStop release date as a placeholder. One fan speculated that it will likely take two years of the new "Spider-Man" game to be released. Insomniac Games again, was quick to respond, saying that it will not take two years to do so, and urges video game and comic book fans to "just stay tuned" as they are still working on the game, Express reported.
Previous reporst stated that Insomniac Games that the new "Spider-Man" game will not be available to the PS Vita, adding the claim that game is only exclusive to the PS4 console.
The game developers revealed that the plot of the "Spider-Man" PS4 game will be a standalone story and will feature a more experienced Peter Parker/Spider-Man and will not tie in to the "Homecoming" film by Marvel Studios. Creative director Bill Rosemann added that the plot will have full of mysteries as there is a story behind everything, delving deeper into the web-slinger's world.
The "Spider-Man" PS4 game will feature an huge open-world gameplay in New York as Spidey utilizes his web swinging and amazing parkour skills to move around and fight criminals on a daily basis.
One of the possible rumored villains in the "Spider-Man" PS4 title is Martin Lin a.k.a. Mister Negative as The E3 2016 trailer showcases the web-slinger fighting masked criminals which, resembles his gang, The BitBag reported.
There is also a hint that Norman Osborn/Green Goblin in the "Spider-Man" PS4 game, which can make him a potential boss character.
Insomniac Games will use the same game engine featured in "Ratchet and Clank" series and confirmed that the teaser was played in the older version of the PS4 console.
Sony and Marvel has not yet announced a release date of "Spider-Man" for the PlayStation 4 and gaming and Marvel fans will eager to know more game details soon.
