Here is good news for all the fans of Vin Diesel. Paramount Pictures has finally revealed the first trailer for the third edition of the spy thriller movie, "xXx: The Return of Xander Cage."

Xander Cage, played by Diesel, is a hardcore athlete who has turned to a government operative. The storyline, as stated by ComicBook has Xander returning from an exile, which he had imposed on himself. The reason for his return is the unstoppable alpha warrior, Xiang, played by Donnie Yen. Xiang has a deadly and sinister weapon called the Pandora Box.

Xander's mission is to recover the Pandora Box and for this, he recruits a new team of thrill-seekers. Thus, together they set out in the race to recover the Pandora Box. But, gradually, Xander finds himself engulfed in a mesh of conspiracy that points towards the involvements of the highest position holders in the world governments.

The story of "xXx: The Return of Xander Cage" is written by Chad St. John and has been revised by F. Scott Frazier. The movie will be directed by D.J. Caruso, of "I am Number Four" fame. Apart from Diesel, the star cast includes Yen, Tony Jaa, Ruby Rose, Nina Dobrev, Hermoine Cornfield, Kris Wu, Samuel L. Jackson, Toni Collette and Conor McGregor. Bollywood star Deepika Padukone will also play a role in this much awaiting movie.

"xXx: The Return of Xander Cage" is all set to redefine action movie with Diesel, flouting the laws of logic, reason and physics, yet, diligently following the laws of coolness. His co-stars, Jackson and Collette also get some fab punch lines like, "Kick some ass and try to look dope while you're doing it," according to Entertainment Weekly.

The first movie "xXx" had made a worldwide box office collection of over $277 million dollars, but "xXx: State of the Union," which was the sequel released in 2005, did not do well and earned a little over $71 million. The possible reason for this could be the absence of Diesel from the second edition. And, now, with the original Xander Cage back, the fans will surely echo Cage's dialogue in the first look, "It feels good to be back."

The action packed movie is slated for a January 20, 2017 release.
