After the success of the Neptune Pine, its creators recently announced their newest product named Neptune Duo.

As the name suggests, the Duo consists of two separate devices: a wearable device that resembles a smartwatch and a display device.

The wearable device is called Neptune Hub and the display device is the Neptune Pocket.

Although it looks like a smartwatch, the Hub is a smartphone redesigned as a wearable device. The Hub has a quad-core chip with LTE and GPS capabilities.

It's also equipped with Wi-Fi and Near Field Communication technology and almost every other possible capability present in a smartphone, according to Engadget.

The Pocket, on the other hand, only acts as a display and battery supplier to the Hub. It has a 5-inch screen useful if the user needs a bigger screen display. It also has an 8 megapixel rear camera and a 2 megapixel front camera. The Pocket isn't a phone and merely acts as a screen for the Hub to stream its features, according to Wired.

The Pocket also serves as a power bank in case the Hub is low on power.

The Neptune Duo is currently available for pre-order and the price starts with a $49 down payment and $649 due after shipment. Interested buyers can also pledge more money for bigger discounts. For example, a customer can pay $199 down payment and another $399 after shipment just pay $498 all-in.

The Neptune Duo is expected to hit stores somewhere around the fourth quarter of the year.
