Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 has been rumored to arrive on Sept. 1. The date was speculated by Russian leaker Eldar Murtazin who has decent track record in terms of Samsung leaks.
The predicted date is aligned to the upcoming IFA 2016 happening in Berlin from Sept. 2 to 7. Sept. 1 is a day prior the event's commencement but Murtazin did not provide any basis for his assumption.
The upcoming Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 is a successor of the previous Tab S2. It would likely retain the 4:3 aspect ratio that caught a number of consumers' attention, Android Authority reported.
The past month provided consumers with leaks of press renders of the said tablet. As of the moment, few information regarding the device's specifications were released. There had not been any noise made by the tab S3 as few people have given their speculations, which may indicate a release this year have not been expected.
A separate source revealed that some of the several specifications included in the tablet is an 8-inch display with 1,536 by 2,048 pixels, a 1.8GHz Snapdragon 652 processor, 3GB RAM, 32 GB internal storage, an 8 MP rear camera and a 2 MP front-facing camera. In terms of battery, a 4,000 mAh capacity is expected to come with the said device.
Meanwhile, some reports suggest that instead of the Galaxy Tab S3, Samsung may actually launch its Gear S3 smartwatch. It is expected that any of the two devices mentioned will be unveiled on Sept. 1, SamMobile reported.
A month ago, several images of the Gear S3 were leaked online. The images showed the smartwatch was made from metal and looked a bit similar with the 36mm Rolex Datejust 2. Some of its features were very similar to a Rolex watch which made the images unconvincing, the report added.
It can be recalled that S2 had 1.2-inch display and it is still unconfirmed up to this time if the Korean-tech giant will still retain the said screen size. Other specific specifications have not yet been revealed as of the moment. It is expected that more details about the Gear S3 will be revealed in the coming months.
