Song Joong-Ki, best known as Captain Yoo Si Jin in KBS2's "Descendants of the Sun," revealed the reason behind why he no longer takes photos with "Running Man" stars Lee Kwang Soo, 31 and Kim Jong Kook, 40.
During a promotional event on July 15 for Chinese mobile company Vivo, the Hallyu star talked about selfies and data usage. Speaking before a predominantly Chinese crowd, he said that selfie will turn out well if the person takes it at a 45-degree angle.
"Yesterday [July 14] was Lee Kwang Soo's birthday, so we ate seaweed soup together," Soompi quoted Song as saying. "Lee Kwang Soo takes selfies well, but does not take that much with me. We can't because of our height difference."
The actor also revealed that Kim seemingly takes a lot more selfies than anyone would expect, adding that the "Running Man" star is really good at taking them. With regards to his data usage, Song revealed that he mostly used his data allocation by watching tons of entertaining videos and movies.
"I watch a lot of videos and movies," he said. "I think I use my phone the most at watching funny clips."
Meanwhile, Song successfully wrapped up his "2016 Song Joong-Ki Asia Tour Fan Meeting" on July 16. His Asia Tour covered 10 cities: Seoul, Bangkok, Wuhan, Beijing, Guangzhou, Hong Kong, Taipei, Chengdu, Shenzhen, and Shanghai.
During his final fan tour meeting event in Shanghai, China on July 16, Saturday, Song broke down in tears as he began reading his letter of gratitude for his parents, mentors, friends and all his fans across the globe. A series of videos and pictures was widely circulated on Facebook.
"I gave a lot of thoughts on whether I am truly worthy of all your love," The Kpop Herald quoted the actor as saying. "My attitude changed a lot during the four months I was on this tour... I can't tell you in every detail, but please know that because of you I was able to change into a person I am proud of."
