‘The Voice’ Season 8: Things You Need To About The New Season And Mentors

"The Voice" Season 8 is set to premiere on Feb. 23, on NBC and it is time for some facts about the upcoming season, its mentors and more. Blake Shelton, Christina Aguilera, Adam Levine and Pharrell Williams are the coaches for "The Voice" Season 8.

Pharrell Williams told ET that the contestants in "The Voice" Season 8 are otherworldly.

"If we said off the charts, it would just sound like we're promoting something. And in all do honestly these kids are like martians," Williams said.

The "Happy" singer added that the contestants are "talented beyond their emotional maturity."

Christina Aguilera told the website that this time the coaches are not having any strategy. She said that it is difficult to have a strategy. The singer stated that in "The Voice" Season 8, she just want to push the button for the "best freaking singers."

"The Voice" Season 8's set has a nursery for Aguilera's daughter Summer Rain. Moreover, she gives parenting tips to Levine and Shelton.

"She's precious. She's so adorable, she's really, really good and just is bright, big blue, eyes," Aguilera said about five-month-old Summer Rain.

Aguilera is coming back to "The Voice" after a long maternity break. However, she is happy to be back on the show. She believes that other coaches are like family to her. She compared her return to like coming back to a "very oddly dysfunctional, awesome family."

According to Us Weekly, Meghan Trainor will be a part of Team Blake Shelton, Lionel Richie is set to mentor Team Pharrell Williams, Nick Jonas will take care of Team Christina Aguilera and Ellie Goulding will guide the members of Team Adam Levine.
