"Game of Thrones" star Sophie Turner has slammed the body shamers who keep on commenting on her body type and the way she looks.

The Sansa Stark of the show said that due to the constant discussion of her looks on social media, she feels "pressure" and remains conscious about her looks. She said that she is always scrutinized online, which has made her be careful.

"I've definitely felt pressure to look a certain way, especially in the industry I'm in. There's always comments and there's always discussion about aesthetic," she admitted. "But at the end of the day, I totally agree with Ronda and Aisling, that you just have to have a healthy body and be confident in that."

The 20-year-old added that she feels "really horrible" to see that instead of praising and encouraging, women are body shaming each other.

Express reported the actress who said that on social media, there is no restriction on who to target. Fans and critics do not consider one's identity or position in the society before the bully someone online. Body shaming is very common to people who are public figures, according to her. She added that these days body shaming is being fought back by women who promote positive body image.

Recently, UFC fighter Ronda Rousey and athlete Aisling Daly have hit back body shamers who commented on their body and looks multiple times. Turner is all set to work together with both for a new 10-part series by Huffington Post, Power Shift, which emphasizes that online bullying does not only impact celebrities but also people from other niches. The online taunt victims, through the series, will aim at inspiring women to begin "championing" each other online via social media.

Turner, according to Huffington Post, said that the two sportspeople are no more confined to their athletic recognition now but have turned into key influencers who have taken a foot forward to initiate the change.
