Leaked photos of the Sapphire Radeon RX 470 Platinum and RX 460 Nitro cards have surfaced showing what the AMD partner reference cards will look like once they release at the end of July.

The bare PCB of the AMD Radeon RX 460 card has recently been seen in action in Malaysia but it was only using a small cooler which could be just for the Oculus Rift VR demonstration only. Now, the new leaked photos coming from China show the good-looking reference cards of the RX 470 and RX 460.

Sapphire's Radeon RX 470 Platinum Edition shows a similar setup to the reference AMD RX 470 card except for the silver and black color scheme that was used, Videocardz has learned. It could appeal for those who are looking for a reference blower type card with a different color other than the black and red scheme from AMD.

In addition, the Sapphire RX 470 leaked photos also show the bare PCB of the card which looks the same as the reference card except for the backplate which shows Sapphire's logo and more silver. The platinum edition has a 4+1 phase design compared to the RX 480's 6+1.

Sapphire also has their Radeon RX 460 Nitro leaked photos. There isn't much to tell about the RX 460 card as only the cooler can be seen which includes two plastic fans and a large heatsink but the variant is expected to come out in 4GB and 2GB variants, WCCFTech reported.

The RX 460 is powered by the Polaris 11 Pro GPU plus a 128-bit memory interface and will only draw about 75W of power. However, the custom cards could eat more considering that they will have larger cooling solutions.

AMD could release both the Radeon RX 470 and the RX 460 by the end of July as one computer store in India revealed they will be selling the latter on July 28. It could mean that the RX 470 could also be released by then.

Sapphire has not confirmed the release date for their RX 470 Platinum Edition or the RX 460 Nitro. However, there is a high chance that it will be launched by the end of this month.
