WWE Rumors: Cesaro finally getting a push despite some backstage heat for his promo?

| Jul 27, 2016 12:32 AM EDT

Cesaro recovers after a hit from Kevin Owens at the WWE SummerSlam 2015 at Barclays Center.

Many fans were surprised to see Cesaro voiced his displeasure for getting drafted to Monday Night Raw. It is expected that he will get backstage heat for his shoot promo but it may lead to WWE chairman Vince McMahon finally giving him the push he deserves.

After the WWE Draft, Cesaro cut a very real promo wherein he looked upset and blasted management for not focusing on their stars. It has been confirmed by multiple outlets that the segment was a shoot and unscripted.

The members of the Cesaro section probably got scared by his comment because he will certainly put in the doghouse. However, it looks like the promo caught the attention of the WWE chairman and he might push the Swiss Superman.

According to Daily Wrestling News, Cesaro got some backstage heat for his promo but it was considered minor. It is noted that it may lead to a push because McMahon respects the talents that stand up and speaks out.

The WWE uploading the promo on their official YouTube channel is a great sign, as well as Cesaro continuing to voice his displeasure. He was a guest on the Battleground pre-show and said that he was offended by not having a match on the card.

Nevertheless, these are just mere speculations but it is a great sign that the WWE acknowledged the promo and following it up. According to The Inquisitr, the 35-year-old superstar's appearance on the Battleground panel is not an accident and it may be a start of his push.

Cesaro also got the opportunity to be part of the Fatal 4-Way match for a chance at the WWE Universal Championship. Even though he did not win, he was not the one that got pinned. Most of the time when a superstar has backstage heat, like Roman Reigns right now, he or she will lose a lot on television.

These events could lead to a heel turn for Cesaro wherein he beats up everyone on his way. That character will likely work because he will not need to talk much and let his actions speak. He can end up attacking superstars in the middle of matches, backstage, parking lots or even at entrances.

Fans can only wait and see what Cesaro does next. Check out the video below for the Swiss Superman's promo that got everyone's attention.
