The viral "Carpool Karaoke" segment from James Corden's "The Late Late Show," where the talk-show host drives around singing songs with famous celebrities, is now coming to Apple Music as a standalone series.

Apple Music and CBS studios finalized a deal to create a 16-episode series based on the popular segment and subscribers of the music streaming service will be treated to a new episode every week.

"We love music, and 'Carpool Karaoke' celebrates it in a fun and unique way that is a hit with audiences of all ages," said Eddy Cue, Apple's SVP Internet Software and Services, according to Deadline. "It's a perfect fit for Apple Music - bringing subscribers exclusive access to their favorite artists and celebrities who come along for the ride."

Much like the original, the "Carpool Karaoke" series will feature various celebrities as they ride and sing along with the host, visiting places that mean something to the celebrity guest and surprising fans on the way.

The show's host and the premiere date have not yet been announced but production is set to begin soon.

Meanwhile, Cordern's "Carpool Karaoke" will continue on as a recurring segment on his late night show, which picked up four Emmy nods after only a year on the air.

The segment has become somewhat of an Internet sensation with YouTube videos of the skit garnering millions of hits. A video of Adele's "Carpool Karaoke" with Corden alone has amassed nearly a 120 million views.

Corden's hit segment has also featured the likes of Jennifer Lopez, Justin Bieber, Gwen Stefani, Taylor Swift, Selena Gomez and One Direction among others.

Last week, First Lady Michelle Obama strapped herself into the passenger seat and belted out a rendition of Steve Wonder's "Singed, Sealed, Delivered" and Beyonce's "Single Ladies," with Corden as he drove around the White House driveway, according to VarietyThe segment, which also featured Missy Elliott as a surprise guest, already has more than 33 million hits on YouTube since July 20.
