Pokemon Go: Tips to recover reset, deleted accounts

Here are some tips to get notifications when Squirtle, Charizard, Pidgey, Snorlax and other Pokemon are nearby.

PokeNotify, a third-party app, will send notifications to a player's smartphone when there are Pokemon in their area. Furthermore, it allows them to select which species they want to get notifications for.

Also, the app allows players know exactly how much time they have to capture the creature before it leaves, giving them an exact time limit to work with.

At present, PokeNotify is available for Android devices, according to a report from The Independent. However, there is not an iOS version.

The reason Pokemon Go does not have the feature is because Nintendo wants people to purchase Pokemon Go Plus.

The wearable accessory alerts players when Pokemon are close, and after that all players have to do is hit a button on the device to throw a Poke Ball. It is no longer essential to have the app open all of the time. Furthermore, the accessory vibrates when players pass by a Poke Stop.

According to reports, it is unlikely that Nintendo would implement a feature that sends alerts when the creatures are nearby. However, it is possible that they may provide notifications about special updates or events.

One reason this feature is so desired is that gamers are looking for a way to save battery. Having the app open through a complete play session leads to situations where a gamer's device die in the middle of the experience.

Those who are experiencing that problem a lot could make use of Pokemon Go's built-in battery-saver mode that dims the screen when they have the device in their pocket. However, according to some players, the feature causes the app to freeze and force them to restart.

Meanwhile, Razer has released the RazerGo app that is designed to be a chat app for the game, The Verge reported. The app makes use of location to allow gamers find and talk to other players.

Furthermore, the RazerGo app enables public chats and private talks between two individuals. Niantic Labs' gaming app does not have communication tools.
