Speculations are rife that "Bounty Hunters" star Lee Min Ho, 29, and Bae Suzy, 21, break-up news is just a publicity stunt to help promote their respective projects.
Since reports about the couple's alleged break-up came to light, neither of their camps took the time to address speculations about the reported cheating scandal. Hence, the break-up reports are likely to be just a PR stunt for Lee's "Bounty Hunters" and Suzy's "Uncontrollably Fond," accoridng to Chatt Sports Net.
This comes after "Bounty Hunters" made it to the top spot of China's box-office hit after grossing $31.5 million since it was released in theaters on July 1. The action film stars Jones Xu, Louis Fan, Karena Ng, Tiffany Tang and Wallace Chung.
It can be recalled that the break-up rumors began when photos of Suzy with former boyfriend, Sung Joon, suddenly flooded the web. Along with the photos are various speculations that the former is perhaps seeing again his ex-boyfriend and cheating on Lee.
Suzy has apparently added some more fuel to the break-up claims during her interview for Harper's Bazaar Korea July issue. In the interview, the Miss A member said that a reality check happened to her while she was filming "Uncontrollably Fond."
"After going through some things, she changed after a reality check," she revealed. "I related to that change very much. Everyone has different sides them, and we're constantly changing."
Lee and Suzy started dating in January 2015, though the two only confirmed they are a couple in March 2015. Neither party has commented on the break-up claims.
Currently, Suzy stars as No Eul in KBS2's "Uncontrollably Fond." In a recent interview for fashion magazine Grazia August issue, the actress said it felt strange to act alongside Kim Woo Bin in the 20-episode TV series.
"It was awkward initially, but after a certain point, he became Shin Joon Young to me," Soompi quoted Suzy as saying. "He was also very considerate on set."
KBS 2TV's "Uncontrollably Fond" currently airs in China, Taiwan, Singapore, Indonesia, Malaysia, Hong Kong, Thailand, and Vietnam. Check out the latest episode below:
