Sasha Banks arrives for WWE RAW at 02 Brooklyn Bowl.

Sasha Banks finally captured the WWE Women's championship this past week on Monday Night Raw by defeating Charlotte via submission. According to the latest rumors, Banks will likely have a lengthy reign and she could defend her title against Bayley at WrestleMania 33 next year.

The Boss was given the opportunity to challenge Charlotte after making her submit in their tag team match at WWE Battleground. In their first one-on-one match for the WWE Women's title, Banks and Charlotte put on a fantastic match that stole the show.

In the final moments of the match, Banks was able to hit the backstabber then apply the Bank Statement for the tapout victory to win the championship. The crowd erupted after the win as they celebrate The Boss' great moment.

On the other hand, Bayley also had a big week because she finally made her main roster debut at WWE Battleground. She teamed up with Banks to defeat Charlotte and Dana Brooke. However, the fun did not last long because The Hugger revealed that her main roster appearance was a "one-time thing," What Culture reported.

The WWE still has not found the successor to Bayley in NXT that is why they have not made the decision to make her a full-time part of the main roster. Nevertheless, the reception she received in her appearance means that she is more than ready for the bright lights.

According to Cageside Seats, the company is already planning the main roster feud between Banks and Bayley. The two women have a great history back in NXT wherein they had two memorable matches last year.

It is noted that Banks vs. Bayley for the first time ever on the main roster will happen at WrestleMania 33 in Orlando, Florida. Besides their history, NXT is located in Orlando and it could be added to the storytelling part of the future feud.

If this is indeed the plan, Banks will get a very lengthy championship reign that could last until WrestleMania 33. The WWE can book her as a dominant champion while holding off Bayley's permanent move to the main roster later this year.

As for Bayley, she will try to become the first woman to win the NXT Women's title twice when she faces off against Asuka at NXT TakeOver: Brooklyn II. Check out the video below for Banks' winning moment this past week on Raw.
