"Batman V Superman: Dawn Of Justice" director Zack Snyder took to Twitter on Feb. 19, Thursday, to reveal "Game Of Thrones" alum Jason Momoa's first photo as "Aquaman."

"There is only one true King," Snyder wrote along with the "Aquaman" photo bearing the words "UNITE THE SEVEN," referring to the Justice League members expect to be revealed in the upcoming DC Comics/Warner Bros. movie.

In the photo, Momoa is dressed as the iconic underwater superhero, which shows and a lot of changes since the "Aquaman" comic book debut in 1941. While the shades of the classic orange and green color scheme remained, there appears to be a much darker tone similar to how Snyder interpreted Superman in "Man of Steel" previously.

Based on the characters created by Paul Norris and Mort Weisinger, the "Aquaman" screenplay will be written by Will Beall and Kurt Johnstad. Beall co-wrote "Gangster Squad" with Paul Lieberman" while Johnstad co-wrote "300: Rise Of An Empire" with Snyder based on Frank Miller's novel "Xerxes."

So far, only Momoa has been confirmed to be part of the "Aquaman" cast.

In an interview with The Daily Beast in January, the 35-year-old actor from Honolulu, Hawaii said that "Aquaman" is "especially cool because being a Kanaka Maoli."

Being Hawaiian, Momoa explained that their "Gods are Kanaloa and Maui, and the Earth is 71 percent water, so I get to represent that."

Aside from "Aquaman," Momoa is also set to appear in "Batman V Superman: Dawn Of Justice" and "The Justice League Part One." He has also completed Richard Gray's "Sugar Mountain,: which also stars Anna Hutchinson and Cary Elwes.

In 2014, Momoa starred in "Debug," "Wolves," "Road To Paloma" and "Drunk History."
