WWE Rumors: Brock Lesnar losing match against Randy Orton at SummerSlam?

Brock Lesnar and The Undertaker battle it out at WWE SummerSlam 2015.

Brock Lesnar is the favorite to win his match against Randy Orton at WWE SummerSlam. However, the latest rumors suggest that the WWE might be leaning on giving Orton the win and end the aura of invincibility of Lesnar.

Lesnar vs. Orton at SummerSlam is still on despite the fact that The Beast is still on a pending doping case for his failed drug test under the UFC and USADA. The WWE reasoned that Lesnar is a part-time wrestler and he is not subject to their Wellness Policy, TMZ Sports reported.

The former WWE and UFC heavyweight champion is set to return to Monday Night Raw next week and he is looking for vengeance. Orton started the trash talk at WWE Battleground when he made a joke about not needing an "enhancement" to beat Lesnar.

According to Cageside Seats, Orton defeating Lesnar is still on the table because the outcome of the match is still not set in stone. The WWE is under scrutiny for not suspending Lesnar but they are insisting that he did not break any rules of the company.

Many fans are expecting Lesnar to win because he is a top draw to the WWE and losing to Orton will make The Undertaker's streak ending a waste of a great story. The Beast should only lose to an up and coming superstar and not a veteran wrestler.

Nevertheless, the match's outcome is still in limbo and the WWE is carefully planning it. If the past week would be revisited, the company is certainly punishing Roman Reigns for violating the Wellness Policy. Before his suspension, Reigns has not been pinned cleanly but he lost three straight matches.

At Money in the Bank, Seth Rollins defeated Reigns after hitting two pedigrees to win the WWE World Heavyweight Championship. The Guy then got pinned by Dean Ambrose at WWE Battleground during The Shield Triple Threat Match.

And on the latest episode of Raw, Reigns lost cleanly to Finn Balor. He was supposedly planned to face Rollins at SummerSlam for the new WWE Universal Championship but his suspension certainly got him massive backstage heat.

As for Lesnar, he is a much different case since he failed a drug test for the UFC and not the WWE. He is still the most physically intimidating superstar of all time and he should not lose to someone like Orton. WWE SummerSlam will be on August 21 at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn.
