The Flash is a CW Network series developed by writer/producers Greg Berlanti, Andrew Kreisberg and Geoff Johns.

New details and possible spoilers for "The Flash" season 3 will feature the possible dangers during "Flashpoint" and another crossover with Supergirl soon.

TV series star Grant Gustin teased the possible threat that could happen in "The Flash" season 3 as Barry Allen/The Flash altered the timeline at the end of season 2, saving his mother Nora (Michelle Harrison) and stopping the Eobard Thawne/Reverse-Flash (Matt Letscher) in the process. With Barry having his parents, Nora and Henry Allen (John Wesley Shipp) alive and well things are as good as ever with Barry, but the new timeline which is now called "Flashpoint" will have its own dangers for Barry to look out from.

Barry's relationship with the people in his life such as Iris West (Candice Michelle), Joe West (Jesse L. Martin), Cisco Ramon (Carlos Valdes) and Caitlin Snow (Danielle Panabaker) have been changed, along with presents of a new speedster villain and Doctor Alchemy.

Several behind-the-scenes photos revealed that the design of the black speedster's costume is similar to the New 52 version Reverse-Flash, Daniel West and appears to be Wally West/Kid Flash's (Keiynan Lonsdale) own "Reverse-Flash" in the new timeline

However, the real danger lies with Barry Allen itself as Gustin teased that Barry will slowly forget his old memories from his reality and will be replaced by the "Flashpoint" version as he is the only person who is aware of the changes surrounding this new reality, Screenrant reported.

In other news, Gustin also teased that there is also a possibility that Kara Zor-El/Supergirl (Melissa Benoist) could show up in an episode of "The Flash" soon.

Both heroes met on an episode of "Supergirl" season 1 as Barry Allen went from his earth to Kara's own earth confirming that they are from another universe. Supergirl and The Flash fought off Livewire and Silver Banshee in National City and went on a race together.

Gustin stated that another a crossover with Supergirl likely not happen until the later episode as the he and the rest of the crew will focus first on the first arc which is the "Flashpoint" plot before it changes back to its original or new timeline during the course of the show, MovieNewsGuide reported.

"The Flash" season 3 will premiere on Oct. 4 at 8pm on the CW Network.
