Lee Jong Suk and Lee Tae Hwan has shown their fighting skills in the latest behind-the-scenes photos from the South Korean drama "W."

MBC has given avid Korean drama fans a treat when the network released its latest batch of photo stills from its Wednesday-Thursday drama "W." In the pictures, cast members Jong Suk and Tae Hwan were photographed facing each other in a mixed martial arts ring, Soompi reported.

The two South Korean celebrities looked serious in the photos, as they crouched to their fighting stances inside the ring. Both Jong Suk and Tae Hwan each wore fighting gloves and were barefoot for the scene. Jong Suk wore a sleeveless black shirt and black pants while his co-star wore gray shorts and a tight gray shirt.

Despite the physically strenuous scenes, the two stars appear to be enjoying their fight practice given the smiles on their faces. One of the pictures featured both actors hugging each other after a fight scene. Another photo also showed Jong Suk with a big smile on his face as he held onto the side of the fighting ring.

The said images are said to be shots from the flashback scenes to be featured in the MBC drama. It appears that the backstory behind Jong Suk's Kang Chul and Tae Hwan's character Seo Do Yoon will be revealed in the upcoming episodes. The "Pinocchio" star's character became friends with Do Yoon after Kang Chul asked the martial arts fighter to teach him how to fight, as stated in the same report.

Meanwhile, the "W" male lead actor will soon meet his avid fans in a series of fan meetings. Jong Suk's agency, YG Entertainment, made the announcement on Monday, Aug. 1, Yonhap News reported. The South Korean celebrity's upcoming fan meeting has been titled "Variety" and will kick-off on Sept. 10 in eastern Seoul's Olympic Park.

Jong Suk is set to show different sides of himself in the upcoming "Variety" fan meetings. Loyal fans from other Asian countries such as Japan and China will also get the chance to see the actor. Apart from the Seoul fan meeting, the actor will hold similar events in other countries across Asia in the coming months.
