Floyd Mayweather and Manny Pacquiao fight is finally going to happen as both parties have signed the agreement, a copy which was posted by Mayweather on his social media Shots on Feb. 20, Friday. The bout is going to have a $250 million (£160 million) hit on May 2 at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas.

The mentioned fight was 5 years in the making and has involved many feuds and arguments over drug tests and financial splits.

This is going to be the richest match, with Mayweather guaranteed a minimum $150 million (£96 million) and Pacquiao's share at least $100 million (£64 million), according to Mail Online.

The 37-year old undefeated boxing champ has always been the top figure dominating every negotiation and even got the right to do the public announcements which he did last week via his social media Shots.com.

Mayweather has been a world champion for 18 years now. Boxing aficionados will be waiting for the day and schedule their Pay-Per-View on Showtime where Mayweather has a contract with and on HBO where Pacquiao's fights are shown. Many spectators all over the world will be there to find out if Pacquiao can knock Mayweather down to taste his first defeat or Mayweather will prove he is "The Best Ever," Sports Illustrated reported.

Reports said as soon as the official date of the fight was announced, MGM Grand sold out within three minutes.

"I am glad my decision to meet with Manny and discuss making this fight happen helped get the deal done," said Mayweather.

There are three titles that are at stake on the May 2 fight. But the WBO champion disclosed he is happy he and Mayweather will be showing boxing fans the fight they have been waiting for.

"I am very happy that Floyd Mayweather and I can give the fans the fight they have wanted for so many years," according to Pacquiao.
