Grand Theft Auto V beats Uncharted 4 in UK video game chart, more GTA V Online DLC to come?

Fans fall in line to attend Rockstar's GTA V event.

Grand Theft Auto V is now back at the top charts of the United Kingdom as it takes on Uncharted 4 which is a significantly newer game compared to GTA V launched in 2013.

It is no secret that there are still thousands of players duking it out on GTA Online due to the numerous GTA V DLC still being released by Rockstar every few weeks or so. Grand Theft Auto V DLCs could be the reason why the sandbox shooter game is now back again at the top spot in the UK video game charts.

Uncharted 4 might be at a disadvantage considering that it is an exclusive for the PlayStation 4. Naughty Dog's exclusive title is battling GTA V which is available for almost all consoles.

Rockstar's Grand Theft Auto V sales have significantly grown by 31 percent over the past few days, Attack of the Fanboy has learned. Meanwhile, Naughty Dog's Uncharted 4 has seen a 19 percent increase in sales.

GTA V's story mode is not that long but there are a whole lot of side missions that players can do to satisfy their need to see violence and whatnot. The GTA Online mode also has new multiplayer modes such as the recent Cunning Stunts races which puts players against each other in fast cars driving through crazy loops and ramps across the city.

Sitting at the top three of the UK video game chart list is Lego Star Wars: The Force Awakens, Metro reported. However, Grand Theft Auto V is only at the second spot in the United States charts as Overwatch still takes the crown across all formats.

Surprisingly, Minecraft is still in the charts but at the lower 10th or 9th spot across the world. The game is still strong as it has a broad audience ranging from children to fully grown adults.

GTA V Online is expected to have a Biker DLC soon and it could still help propel the sales for Rockstar's game. Uncharted 4 may still top the charts but not for long as No Man's Sky is expected to be released next week.
