BLACKPINK debut stage will be on Aug. 14 in SBS Inkigayo.

After debuting on Aug. 8 with two music videos, the new YG girl group will is set to perform on stage for the first time on Sunday at a music show. While it is not shocking that YG Entertainment chose Inkigayo to be BLACKPINK's debut stage as YG and the music show has a special relationship and YG artists usually showcase their songs in the said music show.

YG Entertainment once said that its artists can realize their stages when performing in Inkigayo. There are times that YG artists hold special stages in Inkigayo.

While BLACKPINK member Jennie Kim is no longer new in performing on stage after performing "Black" with G-Dragon in 2013. It will be the first time for three other girls. However, the training for a minimum of four year will surely pay off once the girls are on stage.

YG has built up the hype for its new girl group, which is seven years in the making. The label debuted 2NE1 in 2009 and ended up as the top girl group in South Korea. However, the absence of its flagship girl group due to Minzy's departure and Park Bom's drug scandal.

Meanwhile, BLACKPINK debuted on Aug. 8 and dropped two music videos - "BOOMBAYAH" and "Whistle" that received an all-kill status in various music charts. The group is set to release six more songs as part of their debut.

As the new girl group is gaining steam, the profile of each member is gaining attention from the media and netizens. YG Entertainment has officially revealed the members of BLACKPINK - Jennie Kim, Lalisa Manoban, Kim Jisoo, and Park Roseanne.
