Many Bigbang fans have expressed their frustration at YG Entertainment over its decision to schedule 2NE1 singer CL U.S. debut on the same day as the boy band's anniversary.

Avid fans of the South Korean boy band have shared their thoughts and frustrations following YG Entertainment's teaser that it would unveil something on Friday, Aug. 19, Soompi reported. The entertainment company has previously shared a "Who's Next" poster on social media. YG did not provide other information apart from the tagline and the inclusion of the said date in its promo teaser.

Despite the lack of details, loyal Bigbang followers became excited with the teaser since the date coincided with the group's tenth anniversary. However, the fans were soon disappointed when YG revealed that the teaser pertained to the release of CL's English track titled "Lifted."

Bigbang's fans from Korea, as well as other countries, took to social media to express their anger at YG Entertainment, as indicated in the same report. Some of the Twitter messages included frustrated posts aimed at the said company, while others questioned why YG chose the same date as the boy band's anniversary day for CL's comeback.

The group has been planning to release a new album prior to some of the member's upcoming military enlistment. Bigbang has even shared in a recent press event that they have been working hard to return to the stage in the fastest time possible. Unfortunately, the release of the South Korean boy band's new album has been delayed and YG has yet to announce its new launch date.

Meanwhile, CL collaborated with Asher Roth and Teddy for her new English song "Lifted," Entertainment Weekly reported. The said song is a sampling of the tracks to be included in the 2NE1 singer's upcoming U.S. solo album. She previously released two singles in 2015 namely "Hello B----es" that has been described as an electro-hop song, along with the rap tune "Dr. Pepper."

"Lifted" marks CL's official U.S. song debut. The 2NE1 singer has partnered with Scooter Braun to handle her venture into the American music scene.
