"Teen Wolf" alum Keahu Kahuanui joins the cast of "The Originals" Season 4 as Josh's new boyfriend Eddie.
According to TV Line, Eddie is described as a "sweet, funny, sexy and charming, with an encyclopedic knowledge of random facts." Although he is surrounded by werewolves, vampires and witches, Eddie does not wish to become part of any of the supernatural factions in town.
Kahuanui will make his "The Originals" debut in the second episode of Season 4. There's a lot of speculation about the new character and many fans are hoping he will live long enough for Josh's sake. Although he wants to stay human, things might make an unexpected turn especially if his humanity might cause him and Josh trouble.
The 30-year-old actor is best known for his role as Danny in MTV's "Teen Wolf." His last appearance was in the finale of "Teen Wolf "Season 3.
Other new cast members joining the show include "Containment" star Christina Moses, who's playing a bisexual werewolf.
Meanwhile, things are definitely heating up in "The Originals" Season 4, which picks up 5 years after the events in the previous season. By the time we reunite with the gang, Hayley and Klaus' daughter Hope is already a toddler and missing her daddy.
"She was two years old when we left her ... and she's now a little person," TV Line quoted showrunner Michael Narducci as saying. "She's got dialogue and hopes and dreams, and she misses her dad and understands her family has suffered a great loss. ... Hayley's a great mom."
Hope is the first character who has all three supernatural genes in her blood - witch, vampire and werewolf - making her one of the most interesting characters to date. The extent of her powers is definitely something waiting to be unfold in the upcoming season.
But before the much-anticipated family reunion for Hayley, Klaus and Hope, the mother-daughter tandem is on a journey to "locate the seven werewolf packs." She's going to reconnect with her werewolf roots as she finds a way to save the Mikaelson clan.
"The Originals" Season 4 returns to The CW in January 2017.
