‘Game of Thrones’ producers tease on the Wall coming down; Lady Stoneheart will not be seen

Jon Snow, Daenerys Targaryen, Cersei Lannister, and Sir Petyr Baelish vie for the 'Game of Thrones' Best Leader title.

In the upcoming season the 'Wall' that separates the undead from the living in "Game of Thrones" is going to fall down. And "Game of Thrones" book and the TV show will not go hand in hand when it comes Lady Stoneheart's character.

While speaking to Deadline, "Game of Thrones" executive producers David Benioff & D.B. Weiss stated that they have already "laid out" what can happen to The Wall in the previous season. "We have been laying out the likelihood that it's going to be more difficult to get past The Wall than that, but we wanted to put that basic prospect out there," said the producers.

It has been speculated that "prospect" is no other than Bran (Isaac Hempstead Wright). As shown in the previous instalments that Bran is with his waging ability to transcend time and space -- and the Night King were face-to-face at the Three-Eyed Raven's site indicates that Bran and they are somehow connected now.

This hinted that Bran and the Night King may together use their abilities to break the magic spell that the wall holds. As the executive producers said this is something that Bran wants it to happen.

Vanity Fair previously reported on the history of how The Wall was built in "Game of Thrones." Centuries ago it was Brandon the Builder from House Stark who built it. In the George R.R Martin's novels, a character named Horn of Joramun is known to have the ability to break this wall. However, the character does not seem to exist in the TV show along with Lady Stoneheart and her haunting presence. The character exists only in the books and will not be seen in the show.

Lady Stoneheart is the resurrected corpse of Catelyn Stark (Michelle Fairley) who is rarely seen or heard, but constantly talked about by the Brotherhood without Banners, with whom she travels. As expected Lady Stoneheart had to make her grand entrance however as seen there is no such resurrection on the TV show.
