"Dangerous Woman" singer Ariana Grande is rumored to be dating Mac Miller, the 24-year-old rapper who soared to fame with his 2010 mixtape "K.I.D.S." Grande and Miller were spotted dining together at Katsu-Ya on Aug. 21, Sunday, in Los Angeles.
The two music artists were seen in the LA restaurant sharing meals and giggles. Miller has denied dating the Florida-born singer, referring to her as just a "homey." They were spotted kissing and giggling through the meal, with Grande even lying on his lap at one point, TMZ reported.
Miller is the second rapper romantically linked to Grande after the singer dated Big Sean in 2015. In 2013, Miller denied dating Grande when they worked on the latter's "The Way" off her debut album "Yours Truly." He reportedly was in a seven-year relationship with his former girlfriend, Nomi Leasure whom he brought to his high school prom.
Miller's 2011 album broke records with 144,000 copies sold in its first week, making the album the first independent one to have such success since 1995. Rumored to be net worth $10 million, the rapper is said to love hitting golf balls aside from writing songs. He is a good friend of Wiz Khalifa and the "See You Again" singer's mother, because they are all from Pittsburgh.
Grande's rumored boyfriend was insulted by real estate mogul, now Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump for his song, "Donald Trump" in 2011 which is off his mix tape "Best Day Ever." At first, Trump praised the song but in 2013, he insulted the rapper on Twitter for illegally using his name on the song that has gained 75 million hits. The businessman-turned-politician threatened to sue Miller.
The "Blue Side Park" artist admitted he smoked marijuana but tried other drugs for a different feeling. He wanted a drug that was a bit numbing.
"I think that's what really sparked me doing other drugs, because I hate being sober," he told Complex in an interview about his past drug use for the "Stopped Making Excuses" documentary. "I'd rather be the corny white rapper than the drugged-out mess .... There's no legendary romance."
Miller is a fan of the hip hop group, A Tribe Called Quest, and has a tattoo of the New York group's album, "Beats Rhymes and Life." Watch Grande and Miller in the following "The Way" music video.
