With less than a year until the release date of “Fifty Shades Darker,” multiple rumors have already started circulated online about the sequel’s cast, movie location and a new OST from Ariana Grande. The highly anticipated sequel to EL James’ “Fifty Shades of Grey” will also see the return of Jamie Dornan and Dakota Johnson as Christian Grey and Anastasia Steele, respectively.
According to Pop Sugar, Grande's new song, "Dangerous Woman" will serve as a perfect soundtrack to "Fifty Shades Darker." The seductive number definitely reminded fans of The Weeknd's "Earned It," and Beyonce's stripped down version of "Crazy In Love."
Since "Dangerous Woman" was released last Thursday, March 10 it already topped iTunes' Hot Tracks list.
Meanwhile, Inquisitr recently weighed in on the much talked about alleged full frontal of Dornan for "Fifty Shades Darker." Multiple insiders previously claimed that producers have offered the actor a whopping $1.5 million bonus just to show more skin in the sequel.
Dornan, however, has yet to confirm or deny these claims. The actor simply shared that he is looking forward to doing the second movie in the "Fifty Shades of Grey" franchise with Johnson, slamming rumors that his wife Amelia Warner has long been jealous of his co-star.
The outlet speculated that fans may just have to wait until the "Fifty Shades Darker" premiere to see if Dornan agreed to bared it all.
With the new director James Foley taking Sam Taylor-Johnson's place, it was said that fans will see a different treatment compared to its predecessor. The "House of Cards" director may just take an even more risqué approach, given that the first film was reportedly "met with plenty of criticism for its lack of erotic content."
Foley, however, must still make "Fifty Shades Darker" an R movie, as an NC-17 rating would definitely affect the movie's box office success. In spite of receiving poor reviews from critics, "Fifty Shades of Grey" earned a whopping $571 million in the worldwide box office. What's even more impressive is that the film was made with a budget of only $40 million. Both Dornan and Johnson are expected to have higher salaries in the sequel.
