"Game of Thrones" star Kit Harington was seen in Canada recently looking intense while filming for his latest project. The forthcoming movie is set to be a thriller and is anticipated to be released in 2017.

Harington was later pictured looking idle while film crew worked on set, the Daily Mail reported. The actor was attired in casual clothing. He wore a plaid shirt, skinny jeans, and casual shoes.

The upcoming film titled " The Death And Life Of John F. Donovan" is another project by Xavier Dolan. A former child star, Dolan is reportedly the driving force behind the movie's production. The venture will be his debut English film. Dolan has single-handedly directed, produced and written the script as well.

For Harington, his involvement is said to be a break-out one as he plays the lead character of John Donovan in Dolan's film. Furthermore, some of Hollywood's A-listers will also feature in the film. Stars including Natalie Portman, Susan Sarandon, and Jessica Chastain are all reported to make an on-screen appearance as well.

The film "The Death And Life Of John F. Donovan" is set against the backdrop of the life of an American film star. The movie traces the storyline of a correspondence that takes place between the film's main protagonist and a11-year-old child star. The seemingly innocent correspondence between the two is exposed by a journalist who works for a gossip magazine.

Meanwhile, in an interview with the Hollywood Reporter, Harington has hinted at a very "bleak" season 7 for the next installment of "Game of Thrones." While the HBO series star admitted that he had not seen the scripts as yet, he anticipates a "very dark" period for the show.

"I think it is going to get very bleak before if there is a happy ending. If there's any sort of win or heroic moment for Jon and everyone else," Harington told the publication. He added that viewers could expect to see the full force of the Army of the Dead and the White Walkers when the series airs in early 2017.

In the meantime, fans of Harington can look forward to more films by the actor this year. He is set to appear in the film "Brimstone" which is scheduled for release in September. Furthermore, Harington will team up with young actress Dakota Fanning for a project involving the video game "Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare." He is reported to voice the character of Admiral Salen Kotch.
