"Game of Thrones" actor Kit Harington - who plays the character of John Snow in the HBO fantasy epic series - has left behind his heavy, furry clothing of Westro for a role in Xavier Dolan's latest film. The movie which is called "The Death and Life of John F Donovan" revolves around the life of a famous actor whose correspondence with an 11-year old actor comes into the public scrutiny. when a journalist breaks the news in a magazine called The Gossip.
Apart from Harington the movie also stars Natalie Portman, Susan Sarandon, Kathy Bates and Jessica Chastain. It is being said that the British singer Adele has also been roped in for a role in the movie. The 28-year-old singer who is currently touring the United States, is reportedly planning to use her two week holiday to film scenes for an upcoming movie. According to the Daily Star the film will happen during her break and she's eager to work with Dolan, who directed the video of Adele's hit single Hello.
"Rolling in the Deep" singer, Adele will reportedly play a small part in "The Death and Life of John F Donovan." According to a source quoted in the Daily Star newspaper: "Adele doesn't want to be a full-time actress, but she enjoyed working with Dolan and he thought she could bring a lot to the screen."
It is yet to be confirmed what role Adele will play in the movie. According to the reports she will film during her break from touring.
Apart from branching out into acting, recently Adele also revealed to the crowd during one of her concert performances that she would like to write a novel. "I'd like to write a book. I mean, I'm not very great at stuff like that but I'd like to learn and try to write a fiction book. I don't know what about yet," the Mirror quoted the mother-of-one saying at a concert in Chicago.
The movie will have Harington in the lead role as John F Donovan - a movie star known for playing a Marvel-like superhero role, Jessica will play a cunning gossip columnist, Susan as his mother while Kathy will play Donovan's manager.
