The Iron Throne is displayed during the announcement of the Game of Thrones® Live Concert Experience featuring composer Ramin Djawadi at the Hollywood Palladium on August 8, 2016 in Los Angeles, California.

Fans of the HBO fantasy drama television series are all excited to guess who among the cast will return for the highly-anticipated "Game Of Thrones" Season 7. One that has been hitting the headlines is a possible return of Khal Drogo (Jason Momoa).

The rumors that Drogo is returning to "Game Of Thrones" Season 7 seem to intensify as the new season's premiere is approaching. Some fans believe that the prophecy of Mirri Maz Duur seems to point at his resurrection from the dead.

When Mirri was asked by Dany, the former replied that Drogo will return "when the sun rises in the west and sets in the east, when the sea goes dry and mountains blow in the wind like leaves, when your womb quickens and you bear a living child..."

All the prophecies that look impossible have been fulfilled, according to Radio Times that seem to point that Drogo's return will happen in "Game Of Thrones" Season 7. Moreover, Momoa posted a cryptic message on the social media to his onscreen wife Emilia Clarke that says "see u soon." His message made fans more curious and excited to see his possible return.

Another strong evidence that Momoa may be making a comeback next season was his most recent Instagram post where he was seen drinking with the "Game of Thrones" co-creators David Benioff and Dan Weiss in the series' main Ireland filming location. His hashtag AlohaDrogo left more tongues wagging which could translate that he is saying Hi to his fans in his native language.

Although his recent photo with the showrunners could be just his way of bonding with his old friends, fans could not set aside the possibility that he may comeback in "Game Of Thrones" Season 7. As far as casting is concerned, HBO is searching for several people to fill the cast of a senior military officer, a priest in his 60's, a warrior, a merchant, a gate guard, a city guard, a lovely lady, a young Lord and a lieutenant, Watchers on the Wall reported.

"Game of Thrones" returns in mid-2017. Check out the new season production teaser:
