PlayStation 4 players can now update their Fallout 4 Vault-Tec Workshop DLC as Bethesda rolled out the official update on all platforms including the Xbox One and the PC through Steam.

Fortunately for the PC and the Xbox One, the Fallout 4 DLC automatically updates when it is connected to the Internet. PS4 players will need to do it manually due to a problem with the console, which Sony has not yet addressed until now.

Fallout 4 Vault-Tec Workshop DLC for the PlayStation 4 will need to be updated manually by the player through their PS Home menu when the game is not currently running, GameSpot has learned. They need to highlight Fallout 4 and hit the Options button to bring up the Related Items section.

If the game is indeed currently running in the background, players can close it through the Options menu via the "Close Application" selection. After making sure the game is closed, players should head to the "My Add-Ons" menu to see the Vault-Tec Workshop selection if they have already bought the Fallout 4 DLC.

Downloading the DLC will take a couple of minutes or even hours depending on the quality of the user's Internet connection. Bethesda recommends PlayStation 4 players to delete and reinstall Fallout 4 along with the Vault-Tec Workshop DLC if the method did not work for them,

Fallout 4 Vault-Tec Workshop DLC update from Bethesda includes several bug fixes with the audio and NPC, Gamenguide reported. There are also improved textures for better quality and faster loading times overall when using the DLC.

Bethesda's Pete Hines has recently confirmed on Twitter that the game still has problems with the PlayStation 4 console. Fallout 4 PS4 mods still has no release date as Sony is yet to address the problems with the console itself.

Fallout 4 DLCs have all been announced with Nuka World being the last one. There has been no more reports of a new DLC coming to the game but there could be a new installment in the series dubbed as Fallout New Orleans but no solid proof has been revealed yet.
